A peaceful location in Grizedale is perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of busier parts of the Lake District, and it’s less than 10 miles away from the sandy beaches of the Duddon Estuary.
The bedroom at this dog-friendly cottage for two is light and bright thanks to picture windows and a skylight. A sofa in here is also the perfect place to catch up on some reading.

Robin’s Nest Backbarrow is a classic country cottage that’s located near the pretty village of Newby Bridge. Converted from the original Hawkshead courthouse and police station, this three-storey holiday home features high ceilings, bespoke furniture and a stylish oak staircase. Open-plan living space on the first floor leads straight out onto a spectacular glass-fronted balcony where you can look out across the pretty village towards Claife Heights.
On the top floor of Arresting View is an elegant king-size bedroom with dual-aspect windows that make the most of views over Hawkshead.

Located close to the Solway Coast in Cumbria, this spacious single-storey holiday cottage for up to five guests is just 7 miles from the Lake District National Park. Its elevated position on the edge of Broughton Moor means you can enjoy stunning views over the surrounding fells while relaxing in the garden.
The property itself features a large lounge for evenings together and a dining room that’s housed in the conservatory so that you can enjoy meals while looking out over the garden. Head outside and there’s a picnic bench on the lawn along with a BBQ area, fruit trees, a fire pit and even a hot tub.
