A small village near Ambleside, Skelwith Bridge makes a wonderful base to explore the South Lakes area of the Lake District National Park. Our cottages are well suited for those looking for walking holidays in the area as Skelwith Bridge is near the waterfalls of Skelwith Force and Colwith Force. It’s also close to two small lakes: Elter Water to the south and Loughrigg Tarn to the north.
