With a private hot tub, countryside views and a number of luxury comforts, this stunning lodge is perfect for families looking to explore the Lake District National Park. Sleeping up to four guests, holidaymakers can lace up their walking boots and explore the many nature trails nearby. Just a short drive away is the market town of Penrith, which is a lovely place to indulge in an afternoon tea. Alternatively, take the kids to Lowther Castle and Gardens where they can run wild in the magical adventure playground.

On arrival at this cheery and inviting holiday home, you’ll be wowed by the decorative attention to detail in the open-plan living space. Sink into the corner sofa as the flame effect fire warms your toes and the chef of your group rustles up a plate of scrumptious snacks. The stylish and modern kitchen has everything you need to cook plenty of feasts for your family throughout your stay. Dig into your dinner at the dining table or head outdoors to the decking area for an alfresco supper under the stars. There’s even a private hot tub with a cabana style covering, where you can enjoy a celebratory glass of fizz once the little ones have gone to bed. There are two bedrooms in total: one king-size and one twin.

For water sport lovers, the location of this property is second to none with Ullswater Lake within an easy 16 miles of the front door. Hire a kayak or a canoe and spend an afternoon gliding along the shore or dip your toes into the water for a spot of wild swimming. The historic house and garden of Hutton-in-the-Forest is only 3 miles away and is open to the public from the end of March.

  • 1 small to medium dog accepted, please note that large dogs will not be allowed on this site
  • Please be advised all dogs must be kept on a lead within the grounds
  • On site bar and restaurant (Open for food Wednesday-Sunday - see opening hours locally - booking advisable) Guests receive a 10% discount on final bill upon presentation of your key card.
  • Please note there is a refundable £100 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday

this accommodation is very nice lovely place to stay , however needs a few things sorting out ie: utensils, cleaning aids , outside lights , and better information pack 15 to hire towels !!

Really lovely location with lovely staff. The Lodge was lovely and the hot tub was nice and private and it was great that it had a canopy over it so it could be used in all weathers.

The cottage was home from home, it had everything you needed. It was very clean and comfortable. To get in the hot tub at the end of a day walking was just amazing!

Loved our New Year break, the weather was atrocious but we didnt let it spoil our weekend. The lodge was comfortable, clean and quite spacious for the 4 of us, hot tub was a godsend

Beautiful only down side electric fire not working.. Would of added comfort nighttime. Did bring to attention to staff at globe..on arrival. disappointed no come back!
