For something more demanding, Dale Head (3.5 miles away) and Helvellyn (12 miles away) are both within striking distance. Black Moss Pot is a popular spot for wild swimming 1 mile from the apartment. Visit the caverns at Millican Dalton’s Caves, on the side of Castle Crag just 1 mile away. Go fishing on one of the lakes or have a go at canoeing, kayaking, sailing, rowing or paddleboarding. The market town of Keswick is 6.5 miles away where you’ll find plenty of shops and places to eat out and visit, including the cinema, museums, and the Theatre by the Lake.
