Keswick is a jewel in the northern Lake District's crown, located on the shore of beautiful Derwentwater. It's a vibrant market town with a wonderful atmosphere where you can indulge your wild side with any number of adventurous outdoor activities or pamper your taste buds with a huge range of eateries offering great local food and Cumbrian real ales. The walking and cycling on offer here is second to none, with paths and tracks for gentle, picturesque strolls or Lake District giants such as Skiddaw to climb if you're feeling more energetic.
Ancient and mysterious, Castlerigg Stone Circle is just over a mile up the hill from Keswick. Dating from around 3,000 BC, it is one of the most stunningly situated stone circles you will find, with breathtaking views in all directions. Nearby, there’s Keswick Climbing Wall and Rookery Woods offering fun for all ages.
The living area features a Smart TV, two, two-seater leather sofas, and has natural lighting from stylish skylight panels overhead and a glass French door to the courtyard. The chunky round dining table seats four. The kitchen area offers plenty of work-surface for keen chefs and is well-equipped with appliances including a fan oven/microwave, an induction hob, dishwasher, and a freestanding retro-style fridge/freezer. Although it's on the ground floor, the apartment does contain some steps (four), so may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
The master bedroom is very large and has a lovely king-size bed, cheval mirror and lots of storage in a matching chest of drawers, dressing table and large wardrobe. The en-suite bathroom is also very large, with a WC, cabinets with built-in wash basin, shaver point, heated towel rail, and a vast, luxurious, walk-in shower enclosure with one-way mirrored glass, the shower is equipped with dual overhead and handset sprays, offering a generous rainfall drenching experience, a real luxury after an energetic day spent on the fells. There is also a laundry cupboard with an Indesit washer/dryer.

The apartment includes a private parking permit (a rarity in central Keswick) for parking in the church car park opposite the property. It is one of seven apartments accessed via a shraed entrance. If all the apartments are booked together, they can sleep up to 18 guests and two dogs.
