The cottage is entered via the small porch, ideal for coats and boots, which leads into into the spacious hallway. The well equipped spacious kitchen is off the hallway and has a dining area with a sunny aspect, electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge and washing machine.
At the opposite end of the hallway is the door leading into the spacious lounge with a feature fireplace, open fire and comfortable seating. This room has dual aspect windows with lovely views across the countryside to Orton Scar, the village and pretty church. Other features are the flat screen TV with basic Sky package, DVD player, CD, radio and small library of books.
The staircase from the hallway leads to landing, bedrooms and family bathroom. The spacious family bedroom has dual aspect windows with views to Orton Scar fells and across the village to the church. There is king size bed and a single bed, wardrobe and drawers. The double bedroom has fitted wardrobes and corner windows with views.
The spacious family bathroom has bath and separate corner shower cubicle, washbasin and W.C.
Access to the rear enclosed paved area with table and chairs is by door from the kitchen. The small front garden has views to the village, church and the fells. There is a low side gate to the garden. There is unrestricted parking is in the lane in front of the cottage.
There is off road parking for two cars on a track in front of the cottage with further on-road parking very nearby.
