Set in the picturesque village of Eskdale, Key How Cottage is a comfortable and homely cottage, offering self-catering accommodation for 4 people.

Key How is well situated to enjoy the peaceful nature of the valley whilst enjoying the many outdoor activities Eskdale has to offer. There is a vast choice of walks right from the front door either on the fells or along the banks of the River Esk.

The famous Ravenglass & Eskdale Miniature Railway runs along the valley. It's steam trains make the leisurely seven-mile journey down to the sea at Ravenglass. This sleepy old fishing village has a fascinating Roman history, complete with a ruined Roman bathhouse. Irton Road station is just ten minutes walk from the Cottage.

Also nearby Muncaster Fell, very popular for it's gentle ascents and beautiful views. The foot of the fell is just a few minutes walk from the cottage.

There are pubs in the valley (the Bower House Inn is just a five minute walk away), all welcoming children and serving real ales and a wide choice of good food.
