The Dog and Gun
This traditional, popular pub, The Dog and Gun, has a special menu just for dogs which includes a range of doggy treats and chews at tiny prices plus free drinks (non-alcoholic). Owners can enjoy the local Lakeland ales and delicious homemade grub - the goulash is highly recommended. The portions are huge so you're four-legged friends might be spared a few tasty bites!
The Pack Horse Inn
Located just off the market square in the centre of Keswick, The Packhorse Inn is an old-fashioned, friendly and busy pub! There are old wooden beams and stone floors and the dining areas are on three terraces leading up the stairs. The menu caters for everyone whether you're after fine dining or a simple burger.
The White Horse Inn
This family-run Lakeland pub, The White Horse Inn,The White Horse Inn is set on the A66, just outside of Keswick, and enjoys stunning Lakeland views. You'll find open fires, delicious pub food, local ales and a fantastic atmosphere. The pub is at the foot of Blencathra and is the perfect place to relax after a walk on the fells. The Coast to Coast route travels past the front door of the Inn too!
The George Hotel
The George Hotel is Keswick's oldest coaching inn which has carefully been restored to its former glory. The vibe is cosy and homey and the food is fantastic - try the Cow Pie!
The Pheasant Inn
The Pheasant Inn has a fairly small menu but every dish is tasty and reasonably priced. You'll get large servings and fantastic service here from the local staff. Dogs are welcome in the bar area.
The Lake Road Inn
This dog-friendly pub, The Lake Road Inn, is near Derwentwater Lake and a great place to stop off after a day out exploring Keswick. The Steak and Ale Pie is great and the choice of local ales is superb. The pub has a lovely open fire perfect for relaxing by in the evening!

Right in the centre of town, The Royal Oak is a very dog-friendly hotel and restaurant! Always busy with a friendly ambience.
The Square Orange

Just 4 miles east of Keswick in the pretty village of Threlkeld, you'll find The Horse & Farrier. The pub has been here for over 300 years and is set beneath Blencathra, overlooking the Helvellyn range. This is the perfect Inn to enjoy a peaceful pint and some Cumbrian food.
The Bank Tavern
