Step inside the pod through the glass front door and enter the open-plan living space with wooden panels from floor to ceiling. This cosy and charming space has earthy, neutral tones throughout the decor. To one side is a compact, contemporary kitchenette complete with an electric hob, microwave and fridge. Adjacent is a round wooden dining table with foldaway chairs. Opposite the TV is a leather sofa bed that can sleep up to two guests. At the back of the pod, natural light pours through the small window into the bedroom area with a double bed. There is also a white and wooden shower room. Outside, you’ll find a picnic bench on the lawn garden that is shared with neighbouring guests. A built-in brick base is provided if you’d like to bring along your own BBQ. There’s private parking for two cars.
While staying in the west of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, if you walk over the 14th-century Devil’s Bridge, you’ll find yourself in the quaint rural village of Kirkby Lonsdale (1 mile). For a fun day out, you could visit the Lakeland Wildlife Oasis (11.5 miles) or spend a day by the beach at Silverdale Cove (13 miles). Explore the Lake District National Park and wander around the serene Lake Windermere (22.5 miles). Take a picnic to Ingleborough National Nature Reserve (10.5 miles) and go for a stroll around the waterfalls, caves and woodland.
