Sleeping four people across two bedrooms and welcoming one canine companion, it’s the perfect accommodation option for small families or groups of friends who want to spend their days hiking, biking and sailing at Windermere, and their evenings chilling out on the property’s private patio or mixing with the locals in the village pub.

Step inside and you’ll find yourself in a quaint galley kitchen – the perfect place to rustle up some dinner for your nearest or dearest. You may even be lucky enough to spot deer while you eat. After dinner, put your feet up in front of the TV in the lounge area, or step outside onto the small private patio, crack open a bottle of something cool and crisp and watch the stars come out. At the end of the day you’ll find a bright and cheerful double bedroom with fell views, as well as a cosy double with original beams.

My husband and I had a fantastic two week stay at this lovely cottage. The location is absolutely perfect for all the local amenities of which there are plenty. Restaurants, bars, pubs, outdoor shops, gift shops and a Tescos and Coop are all a few minutes walk away. It is also a perfect base for exploring the Lakes and for walking the Fells. The Read morecottage has two good sized bedrooms, a small kitchen and lovely open plan lounge dinning area. The window seat overlooking the garden was our favourite spot to sit and relax. The cottage was warm and cosy. We would definitely recommend to friends and family. Hide

Iveing View is comfortable and compact. It was equipped with everything needed for our stay, and was fresh and clean. It is in an ideal location in Ambleside, and provides lovely views. Comfortable cottage. Parking for second car is difficult if adjoining larger property is in use. ie you maybe few 100m walk away. Steps inside higher than normal if someone has mobile issues.
