Find walks from every direction when leaving each morning, with Place Fell (3 miles) and Helvellyn (2 miles) at either side and Ullswater towards the north. Join the Ullswater Way to see the best of the lake scenery, including the magnificent Aira Force waterfall (5 miles) and Glencoyne Park (3.5 miles). You can also see the water from the Ullswater Steamer, a lake cruise that sails between four piers, the nearest of which can be found at Glenridding (2 miles).
