Enjoy the countryside surroundings while staying near the small village of Ennerdale Bridge (0.5 miles), which has a cafe and pub. Visit the historical Blakeley Raise Stone Circle (1.5 miles) and follow the walking trail to Ennerdale Water (3.5 miles). You’ll also have two waterfalls nearby – Scale Force Waterfall (6.5 miles) and Moss Force Waterfall (9.5 miles), which sit on either side of Buttermere (8.5 miles). Spend a day strolling along the cliff-top paths at St. Bees Head Heritage Coast (9 miles) or head to the beach at Fleswick Bay (9 miles).
