There’s also an en-suite shower room here. You’ll have use of the owner's large garden, with a patio and chairs, plus 16 acres of farmland during your stay.
Explore the local village of Ennerdale Bridge (0.5 miles), which has the lazy River Ehen running through it, a cafe and a pub. Venture further into the national park to find the Ennerdale Water (3.5 miles), which sits beside the Wild Ennerdale National Forest. Follow the walking trails to Scale Force Waterfall (6 miles), Buttermere (8 miles) and the High Stile, a mountain peak 8.5 miles away. In the opposite direction is the St. Bees Head Heritage Coast (9 miles), which is a cliff-top nature reserve with nesting birds and panoramic views of the sea.
