Enjoy a family holiday in this charming property. You’ll be in a unit which can accommodate a small group and their dogs, located within a larger complex of properties. That means it’s great for exclusive retreats or big trips where everyone has their own place. It’s just outside of Silverdale, a village on the coast of Cumbria with easy access to the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, perfect for anyone looking for adventure.
The property starts with a cosy lounge/diner, which showcases the building’s history with wooden beams and exposed brick. There’s an electric fire for cool evenings full of games, films and fun, and to one side you’ll see a picnic bench-style dining table. The kitchen has easy access, and it’s equipped with everything you’ll need. Go upstairs, where there are two bedrooms. The first is a twin room, where the children can get some rest, and then there’s a double bedroom for a little alone time with your partner. You’ll also have a family bathroom with a deep, P-shaped bath. The property has a patio area where you can eat and BBQ, and there’s a field which is shared between the residents, set up for football matches. Alternatively, take your dog on the agility course and test their skills!
Silverdale is 3 miles from the property, so aside from the other visitors to the holiday complex, you’ll be alone. When you do want company, Silverdale is a nice village with a beach, or you can visit Carnforth (5.5 miles) for some great places to eat. You’ll be in an area full of wildlife, so make sure you pack your binoculars and head to Gait Barrows National Nature Reserve (1.5 miles) to see woodpeckers, marsh harriers and bitterns.
