Outside the cottage is a designated parking space and a delightful decking area with outdoor seating for two. Guests also have access to the outside area shared with the other two cottages within the grounds.
Located in the peaceful village of Edenhall, there are local footpaths to explore from the door - dogs and humans alike will love the Ladies Walk that takes you through the village along the picturesque River Eden. Treat yourselves to a meal out - guests at the cottage can even book in for breakfast if they'd like - at the popular village hotel, just a short stroll from the cottage. Spend a peaceful afternoon fishing at nearby Whins Pond or take in a round of golf at Penrith Golf Course. Penrith itself is a historic market town with plenty of shops and supermarkets for stocking up on essentials.
The Lake District National Park is within easy reach, so why not spend some time exploring there? Head to Keswick, the adventure capital of the North Lakes, or visit Grasmere, a charming village in the South Lakes that was once home to the poet William Wordsworth and is renowned for its eponymous gingerbread. Edenhall sits at the foot of the Pennines, a beautiful but wild area renowned for its hill walking opportunities. Whatever you decide to do during your stay, this property will be a welcome retreat to return to after a day out exploring.
An open-plan living-dining-kitchen area makes fantastic use of the space. The large living area is light and bright but also homely and cosy: the best of both worlds! There's a three-seater sofa, a Smart TV for entertainment and an electric fire, perfect for relaxing evenings in. The kitchen area is well equipped and is sure to please the cook in the party - it has an electric oven and hob, handy microwave, fridge and even a dishwasher. A breakfast bar with two seats in the kitchen is a great spot for morning coffee whilst spreading out your maps and guidebooks to plan the day's adventures; then gather round the dining table and compare notes on the day's events over your home cooked meals.

This property is one of three sitting within the walled garden of the adjacent Vicarage, and guests are welcome to walk around the delightful, shared area between the cottages, when the main gate is open.
