Bury St edmunds Family
- This is the third time we have stayed in this cottage and we love it and its closeness to Derwent water & a launch stop. It is an easy walk (if you like walking)into Keswick and a stones throw away from a pub and a lovely café.
The decking and outside furniture are starting to look a bit tired plus the front and side garden were in desperate need of tending to. Also it would be lovely to have somewhere outside to dry washing apart from an airer. The bedrooms are of a good size and the beds very comfy, the kitchen is well equipped and a dishwasher and washing machine are integral in the kitchen too. Hot water was on tap 24/7 and the heating would have been if we needed it. There is ample parking for 2 cars and the views are great. Even though it is next to a road the noise is not an issue and sitting on the decking in the sun was just fantastic. We could not fault the contact we had with Sallys Cottages either. its a pity you cannot book the weather although this time round we were very lucky.

Hi Jacqueline, thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your third stay as much as the previous two. It's the perfect place to relax and recharge the batteries isn't it? And the fab weather was an added bonus!
I really appreciate your feedback about the garden furniture and the garden, I'll make sure we get it checked out.
I hope you can come back to make more memories in the Lakes soon.
