General Description

Wainwrights Loft is a charming and beautifully appointed apartment for two set in the heart of Keswick. It has been thoughtfully renovated to a high standard using luxurious furnishings, stylish design details, local photography while making the most of its period features.

Guests enter the property via an external staircase to the roof terrace. This opens into the main open plan living space. The shower room is directly to your left, this has a modern suite with a large enclosure and electric shower for soaking away tired muscles.

The main living space has a wonderful open, spacious feel about it with its exposed beams and double height ceiling. There's a comfy soft grey sofa for curling up in front of the cosy wood burner or for relaxing while watching the wall mounted Smart TV. The owners have thoughtfully provided a range of books to inspire your outdoor adventures including some of Alfred Wainwright's Guides to keep you entertained. There's a wooden dining table for two and a lovely wooden window seat from which you can look out to Latrigg, the much-loved little fell just outside Keswick.

The well-equipped modern kitchen area has a double electric oven with four hobs, a slimline dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and all the crockery and cookware you will need for your stay. Why not cook up a romantic meal for two and enjoy it with that lovely view over Keswick's rooftops?

Moving through to the front of the apartment the delightful bedroom looks out onto St John's Street and the town's own art deco cinema, The Alhambra, across the road. You can even see the summit of Catbells in the distance. The room itself is a comfy haven with a romantic metal king-size bedstead, a large built-in wardrobe and a charming decorative fireplace.

Outside the apartment is a roof terrace, perfect for making the most of sunny days. There's a table and two chairs out here where you can look out over Keswick's rooftops to Latrigg while enjoying a morning cuppa or a sunny evening meal. Fantastic to have some outside space to make the most of even though you are nestled in the heart of Keswick.
