Riverside Cottage is one of our NEW COTTAGES!

Overlooking Fitz Park and the River Greta, Riverside Cottage is a wonderful three storey cottage for up to 6 people. Stylishly decorated and expertly combining contemporary comforts with a cosy traditional feel, you couldn't want for much more in this luxurious cottage. The spacious open plan living-dining room is light, bright and airy, with a fantastic wood burner and feature bay window with a delightful view of the river below. Also on the ground floor is the modern, well equipped kitchen. On the first floor you'll find two of the bedrooms, one bright double and one cosy twin, along with the family bathroom. Up a further flight of stairs to the second floor and the third bedroom, another lovely double this time with its own en-suite shower room. A private balcony overlooks the river and park (please note that children must not be left unsupervised in this area due to the location).

Located a couple of minutes' walk from the centre of Keswick, Riverside Cottage is perfectly positioned to make the most of everything this bustling market town has to offer. For those who like a spot of retail therapy, a mooch around the many independent and outdoor shops is a must - be sure to make a pitstop for coffee and cake at one of the town's quirky cafes. If culture is more your thing, head to Keswick Museum and Art Gallery, a short walk from the cottage, to learn all about the local history of the area. Families will love the indoor climbing wall at King Kong, or why not get your adrenaline pumping and sign up for ghyll scrambling or canyoning with one of the local adventure companies?

Fell walkers will love the great choice of walks on offer straight from the front door. A walk up Latrigg via Spooney Green is a must for anyone staying in Keswick - take a break at the famous bench near the top to admire the panoramic view of the town. Conquer Skiddaw, England's fourth highest mountain, scramble up Catbells or venture up Walla Crag for stunning views of Derwentwater. If being closer to the water is more your thing, pack a picnic and enjoy the 10 mile circular walk around the lake - you can always hitch a ride on the launch to give tired muscles a break and enjoy the water from a different perspective.
