Disappointed to find that there is a third bedroom but that it is out of commission - this should be addressed to allow larger family units to use the property

We had a lovely and relaxing weekend break at The Retreat (Ravenglass). The cottage was clean, comfortable, well equipped and well located.
The village of Ravenglass is small but had lots to offer including mainline trains, steam trains, museum, cafes, pubs, restaurants and the beautiful estuary!
With many other great locations a short drive away, including Wastwater and Scafell Pike.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day on the steam trains (even though there were no children in our party)!
Overall it was the wo derful and relaxing weekend we needed. Thank you.

Hi Victoria, thank you for your lovely feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed your weekend. It's a real home from home isn't it? It sounds like you enjoyed exploring too, there's so much to see and do nearby. I'm glad you enjoyed your trip on the La'al Ratty! I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.

A lovely house, in a great location. We enjoyed seeing a different side to the Lakes and loved being both near the sea and the hills. Would highly recommend it 👍
