Very comfortable cottage- probably needing stronger lighting in the lounge to allow everyone to be able to see to read wherever they were sitting.

Hi Ann, thank you for your comments, I've made a note your lighting suggestion. It really is a lovely cottage, isn't it? I'm delighted that you had such a lovely stay.

Loved how cosy and welcoming the cottage felt. Has everything you need, just like a home. The village itself was lovely and everyone very friendly. Had a fantastic night at the pub next Door where we were made to felt like locals.

The cottage is very homely and comfortable. You get the feeling that the cottage is loved and used by its owners. There is plenty of information provided to make the most of your stay. The beds are the most comfortable I've experienced away from home. The cottage has an Aga which we used successfully with the help of the cottage information pack and the Mary Berry cookbook, despite the fact that none of us had used one before. The key thing is to be prepared, we found.
We used the cottage as a relaxing base from which to explore the lakes, the local area, knit and unwind.

Hi Nic, thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay, it's a lovely place for a relaxing break isn't it? It sounds like you mastered the Aga, well done! You'll have to get one at home!
I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.
