Park House in Skirwith, CumbriaOnce the laundry of a grand home, Park House has been beautifully converted and now welcomes eight guests and two dogs. It's a spacious pet-friendly pad surrounded by parkland and rolling hills.

Enter the hallway to begin with: exposed sandstone walls, tiled floors and a beautiful staircase really make an impact. The house is upside down, so the main living areas are upstairs.

Living room at Park House in SkirwithThe lounge is ginormous, with spectacular wooden beams, lots of squishy leather sofas, chunky furniture, and a crackling wood burner in a beautiful fireplace.

Kitchen-diner at Park House in SkirwithThe kitchen-diner, too, has space to spare. Neutrally decorated, it's a bright room that has all you could need for social meals. The kitchen is fully-equipped with electric hob and dishwasher amongst its many facilities, while the dining are has a table with plenty of space to seat eight.

The master bedroom is breathtaking with a king-size bed, exposed roof beams, pastoral views, and an en suite shower room. The second bedroom also boasts a king-size bed and an en suite with bath and hand-held shower.

Downstairs king-size bedroom at Park House in SkirwithDownstairs you'll find even more space in the form of two bedrooms and a bathroom. Both bedrooms include king-size beds that can be unzipped to create twin bedrooms instead, so you have plenty of flexibility for your group's needs.
