I was very disappointed with this overpriced cottage as I expected a far higher standard in keeping with the modern bathroom and kitchen. I wonder if any of Sally's Cottages staff have been inside recently as, unlike their attractive offices, it is basic, unwelcoming, dingy and has no character.
Fancy photography doesn't show that the downstairs loo is not attached to the floor, the dining room rug is a trip hazard, the sofa's are stained and the curtains are a shambles. Drawers are full of outdated leaflets and the few books and games available should be binned. The front garden has plants hanging over the path and the back needs a good sweep and tidy up.
It needs a lot of TLC with many more homely touches.

Unbeatable location in the heart of Windermere. Pleasant walk down to Bowness. Very clean, comfortable and cosy property.
