From the parking area and gardens to the rear you enter in to the conservatory area which has a breakfast table and seating area, with the open-plan kitchen just around the corner from the conversatory's settees, it's a sociable space for everyone to enjoy. The kitchen is equipped with a double oven gas AGA, two fridges, dishwasher, microwave and plenty of storage space. Off from the kitchen there is a small pantry which has more storage space and houses a washing machine, tumble drier, ironing board and freezer.
From the kitchen is the second sitting room with an inglenook gas fire and traditional wood panelling, making it a cosy spot to relax with a good book.
The spacious front hallway leads to a dining room with a table to seat 18 on the left, and the first sitting room on the right. This sitting room has TV, DVD player, gas effect stove and great views towards the Keswick fells from the window seat.
Also downstairs is a bedroom with twin beds, and a handy shower room.
Upstairs there are six bedrooms on the first floor. There are four en suite doubles (with showers) and a further double. There is also an en suite twin bedroom. The bedrooms on this floor each have flat screen TV. On the first floor is a family bathroom with shower above the bath, toilet & sink. There is also an additional toilet.
Stairs lead to the attic bedrooms - please note the limited headroom & stonework in here under the eaves. There is a twin room that leads through to a second twin room and a shower between the two. The attic stairs are rather steep, so may not be suitable for young children or those less-abled.
Hazelwood stands in approximately half an acre of grounds, broken up into much smaller areas. The car park is tarmacked and has space for nine cars. There is an enclosed ‘dog lawn’ perfect for exercising dogs off leads. At the front of the house are more landscaped gardens and lawns, comprising a sunken lawn; another small lawn; herbaceous borders and an area of tall shrubs. Garden furniture is provided.
