Groups looking to make the most of their time in the wild should lace up their boots and spend a morning hiking up Skiddaw, which is one of the top destinations for mountain walking in the Lake District.

At the heart of this delightful home is a sociable lounge space where you and your friends can spend quality time together. Pop open a bottle of celebratory fizz and sink into the comfy seating as you catch up and make adventurous holiday plans. Such a stylish, comfortable and well-maintained house. The location is peaceful but well-connected with a variety of good walks from the door and a bus stop nearby so no real need to use a car. Great local caf too!

The apartment was excellent, in a great quiet location with everything you could wish for in a home from home and every thing was of a high standard. When we first walked in, the rooms smelt wonderful which helps when pets are not allowed in the apartment. All the rooms were spotless and tidy.

Overall, the house is lovely. The kitchen is well equipped. The downstairs bedroom is a good size, so is one of the upstairs bedroom. The second bedroom upstairs is smaller and has limited hanging storage, especially for trousers and dresses. Maybe net curtains in the windows facing the Hotel for privacy would be ideal.
