Thick Riggs far exceeded our expectations. The garden and view blew us away and the location was great- straight onto the fields to explore the river and an easy walk to Keswick. The house was well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Some of the furniture and carpets could be updated but the setting more than made up for that. It was perfect for aRead more long family weekend and we would happily return. Hide

Lovely location and very warm bungalow, but a few extras are needed. There are no wardrobes in two of the bedrooms and the sofas need replacing, theres a hard bit at the back of the one that sits in the base of your back. We did have a lovely stay though, the views are stunning and the Farmers Arms is literally a 2 minute walk away.

This is possibly the best holiday rental we have ever stayed in. Comfortable, warm, well equipped - and the view! We stayed in much more than we would normally on holiday simply because of the view! TV was a bit small for the distance from the sofas but thats a minor detail in the overwhelming positives of this place.

Beautiful location, easy walk into Keswick or out into the countryside. Perfect for 6 adults. A little dated.

Lovely cottage in a quiet lane. Ample parking for two large cars. Views are spectacular, garden and balcony are enjoyable in morning or evening. During our stay it was quiet in the neighbourhood. A great bungalow in the perfect position, tucked away with no passing traffic or people, yet still on the doorstep to the local pub and a short walk in to Keswick.
