The cottage is in a great location, with lots of local dog walks. You are 5 mins by car to Bardsea Beach and 30 minutes to Bowness. We did Keswick, Tiberthwaite and cathedral caverns which were stunning. Never enough time to fit everything in, so enjoy the scenery, local pub, food in ulverston (many dog friendly) and relax.

Nice compact cottage, great underfloor heating on all floors. Really comfy beds with crisp linen plus towels Good WiFi, great smart tv, functional kitchen with adequate utensils and a wood burning oven was a bonus. The icing on the cake was a box of complimentary chocolates and a bottle of wine on arrival. A big thank you to Tom

The house was comfortable and well- presented and the owner was welcoming and helpful. The cottage is only a ten minute drive from Ulverston and there were plenty of lovely walks on our doorstep. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hope to come again.

Great stay in a very comfortable cottage in a really good location, lots to see and do in the area. We took full advantage of the patio in the hot weather and the fact that the cottage was blissfully cool on a night was a bonus.

This is a beautiful cottage in a perfect location to all of the local lakes etc Tom very kindly pointed us in the direction of the common, so our dog had a lovely run every morning before starting our explorations.

This cottage has everything that you could want for a comfortable stay away from home for both humans and our doggy companion. The location is ideal for the lakes, fells and some wonderful beaches (we had not expected the beaches so these were a great find). There is a pub in the village that provides good food from a basic menu but other eateries Read moreare not far away. Ulverston comes highly recommended. We're both in our dotage but neither of us had any of the problems one or two previous guests seem to have had with the stairs or low beams. Beds were great, furnishings excellent and cottage itself was welcoming and homely. Owner was unobtrusively helpful.
