We've been to many holiday apartments over the years but have never been to one so well equipped and clean. The owner has obviously given a lot of thought to what a holiday-maker might need. The view and balcony are amazing and the apartment is so quiet and well-located for walks. Stefan is a lovely kind man who was warm and welcoming. The cottage (flat) was perfect for a restful, quiet week, and very comfortable. As the weather was sunny and warm we sat on the balcony several times, basking in the sunshine, even needing the sunshade despite it being early April. The welcome basket, with milk in the fridge, was very much appreciated, and we found the drawer of leaflets about the Read morelocal area very useful. It was very easy to get to Hawkshead, also into Coniston, from the cottage, and of course to walk directly to Tarn Hows. Hide

We had a fabulous stay at this very comfortable and well equipped cottage. It was spotlessly clean and well cared for by the owners. An added bonus were the two comfortable reclining chairs in the living room with open views across the countryside. The balcony was also an excellent viewing point and has the sun for most part of the day. The locatioRead moren was perfect for our needs being a 15 mins walk to Tarn Hows.
