The picturesque village of Sedbergh is 4 miles and is a lovely place to while away the day. Head out from the doorstep to explore the surrounding walking and cycling routes winding into the stunning Yorkshire Dales. Or, travel a little further afield and visit the superb Lake District. Head to Lake Windermere for kayaking, paddleboarding and waterside walking (24 miles) or explore the cultural town of Kendal (15 miles).
