I cannot describe how lovely this cottage and its location are, it is like a postcard. Sometimes I just caught myself staring at the cottage and surroundings and thinking how lucky I was to be there. I like to go on holiday to different places each year, but this is the first place my partner and I agreed we would love to come back to. For those Read morewith very young children there is a public footpath running across the front outside the garden wall, it's not busy at all and everyone I saw gave me a friendly hello and left me to it. If your kid is a good climber I imagine they can get over the wall and there is a fairly decent drop to the river, so just something to be mindful of. I wouldn't let that put you off, as you'd be missing out if you didn't stay here. Hide

Amazing stay in May! Super comfortable bedding and fantastic showers/bath and wood burner. Can't fault the place. For anyone with a dog that could get over an approx 3 foot wall or is reactive/an escape artist I wouldn't say the garden would be secure especially with other dog walkers going past the front of the house though irregularly. This is a lovely cottage with all mod cons. We had a lovely week here and our host left roses and a bottle of wine for us on arrival - a very kind gesture. The house is in a lovely setting with lots of walks nearby and a pub ten minutes walk away. Can highly recommend it.
