Set on the first floor of a smart development in a quiet corner of Ambleside, this apartment is a great choice for friends or family heading to the Lake District. Routes up to Wansfell Pike (1 mile) begin nearby, rewarding walkers with sweeping views, while the centre of Ambleside is a downhill 0.5-mile stroll away. Wander through its characterful streets to find independent shops, cosy tearooms and well-regarded restaurants, or head to Stock Ghyll Force (1.5 miles), where woodland paths lead to a dramatic waterfall and excellent photo spots in every season. With Lake Windermere less than a mile away and countless walking trails in every direction, this apartment makes a fantastic base for exploring the Lake District.

With its own private entrance, a short flight of stairs leads you inside to an open-plan living area. High ceilings and wide windows fill the room with natural light, while modern furnishings and thoughtful design make it easy to settle in straight away. The sleek kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking, and the lounge/dining area is finished with carefully chosen artwork, including a large OS map celebrating the surrounding fells. A large corner sofa invites you to sit back with a film or simply recharge after a day out. Two bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, while the second can be set up as twins or a super-king-size on request. Both are styled with comfort in mind, creating a calm setting for a good night’s sleep. A contemporary bathroom, tiled and fitted with a shower over the bath, serves both rooms.

Though there's no outside space, the greenery of the National Park can be accessed practically from your doorstep. Parking is provided too, ensuring a hassle-free stay from the moment you arrive.

Really enjoyable stay! Wish we could have stayed longer. Great location near Ambleside with great walks right on the doorstep. Very clean and well equipped.
