Offering cosy accommodation for up to four guests, this charming hideaway is full of character and lies in a convenient position for exploring the cheerful Lakeside town of Windermere. The bungalow lies less than a mile from the shores of the lake, with a range of outdoor activities to enjoy, including canoeing, kayaking and paddleboarding. Windermere and the neighbouring Bowness are home to a variety of attractions, including the Jetty Museum, The World of Beatrix Potter, and Queen Adelaide's Hill. From Bowness Bay (1.5 miles), you can join a steamship cruising along the lake, calling in at Lakeside, Wray Castle, and Ambleside. Ambleside (5 miles) is home to The Bridge House, Ambleside Roman Fort, and Stock Ghyll Force. Other local attractions include Whitbarrow National Nature Reserve, Brockhole on Windermere, Stagshaw Gardens, Holehird Gardens, Lakeland Motor Museum, and Townend, all within 10 miles.

As you step inside this welcoming bungalow, the hallway has space for leaving shoes and coats before heading through to the stylishly arranged open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The cheery lounge has ample seating, a Smart TV, and a wood burner-effect electric fire, with the dining table over in the corner by the window, perfect for a family get-together. The dining space leads through to the fully equipped kitchen, with a useful additional breakfast bar. When it's time to turn in for the night, you will have a choice of two characterful bedrooms, tastefully decorated in warm, relaxing shades: there's a twin room, and a lovely king-size room with its own en-suite bathroom. To round off the accommodation, the bungalow has a family bathroom.

Going outside, the delightful, landscaped back garden is fully enclosed and features a charming lawn and patio with ample outdoor furniture, making a lovely spot for everyone to sit out and relax in the evening after a great day out. Further bench seating can be found in the lovely front garden. Private parking is available along the driveway for two cars.
