Really cosy cottage in the middle of a little village. Loved visiting the surrounding area, despite the big storm! Aspatria has all the small amenities as well as Maryport being only slightly further. Beach is about 15 minutes drive away. Perfect for the doggo, thank you for a wonderful stay!

A very well appointed cottage . It has clearly been renovated in the last few years and everything is beautifully done . The kitchen was stunning. Very comfy bed too .The enclosed garden was a real benefit for our dog although the beach at Allonby a couple of miles away was really great .

The property was lovely and well positioned to explore Cumbria and the lakes. Susan was a lovely host and the place itself has been designed to a good spec. Just be mindful that the property is in between 2 others which should not deter you as the place is lovely.

A perfect getaway, couldn't fault the accommodation or the location, the owner Susan has thought of absolutely everything you may need. The cottage is spotless throughout and the enclosed outside area was more than adequate for our two cockers, one of our best dog friendly breaks yet. Would definitely recommend and will be going back for sure!!

The cottage was clean and tidy , had everything we needed and bed comfortable, how ever due to new tenants moving in above the cottage a week earlier we experienced a lot of noise of banging , thumping , running above us . Reported this to the company and owners as we felt this was unacceptable and was offered a small compensation amount , however Read moreduring the whole week the noise continued. This property is not suitable as a holiday let due to this problem , the worst experience weve ever had . Hide
