We had a lovely stay at this cottage. The master bathroom was simply stunning, with a wonderful shower. And the views from all rooms were incredible! All bathrooms, bedrooms and living rooms were clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was the stairs up and down/ into the kitchen, as these weren't photographed and we would have probably avoideRead mored staying as with two very young children it was a little risky. They are steep, uneven and slippery. However these were the only issues, and quite honestly not the no-ones fault! Hide

Peaceful location. Suited us perfectly, having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We appreciate having heated towel rails, also a laundry room that can be used for drying clothes. Kitchen well equipped.

We had a fabulous stay, the weather was dry and sunny which helps, but we felt the cottage could have been cleaner. The setting is magical and would recommend the Queens Head and the cafe in Troutbeck.

We had an amazing stay! The house is spacious, well furnished and surrounded by peaceful nature. From there, there are amazing walks accessible without a car. The nights we spent by the fireplace were unforgivable. I would 100% recommend this place.

This was a beautiful property in a beautiful location. Extremely well appointed, particularly in the kitchen. Well heated for those colder times. We met up with our son and some friends here and there was plenty of space for the 6 of us. My wife and I have been travelling through the US, Canada and the UK for over 2 months and this has been withoutRead more doubt the best place we have stayed at (not counting friends houses in case they read this).
