Enjoying a quiet location within easy reach of the heart of Keswick, this cheerful, bright and relaxing cottage offers spacious accommodation for four guests, ideal for walkers, water sports enthusiasts, and nature spotters discovering an unforgettable part of the Lake District. The cottage lies in a convenient spot with the popular Alhambra Cinema less than 100 metres away and the fantastic Puzzling Place within 400 metres. Keswick is a lively Lakeland town with some fantastic places to eat and drink – and is home to the Derwent Pencil Museum and the Theatre by the Lake, with Derwentwater offering a wealth of water-based activities. Bassenthwaite Lake lies to the north (4 miles), and the area has a range of popular landmarks including the Threlkeld Quarry and Mining Museum, Mirehouse and Gardens, and the Lake District Wildlife Park (all within 9 miles).

Stepping inside this inviting retreat, the spacious lounge offers a warm welcome, with plush seating, a TV, and a pebble-effect gas fire, providing a relaxing spot for you all to unwind after a fantastic day out. Heading through, the bright and stylishly arranged kitchen/diner has a lovely central dining table, while the kitchen area has ample equipment and plenty of storage and workspace so you can rustle up your favourite family dishes. The ground floor also features a utility room with laundry facilities. Going upstairs, you will have a choice of two light and airy bedrooms, each with plenty of storage space: there's a bright and cosy twin room and a colourful double which has its own en-suite shower room. The accommodation also features a refreshing bathroom.

From the kitchen, patio doors lead out to a charming back garden with plenty of outdoor furniture, providing a lovely spot for dining alfresco on a sunny day or for enjoying a coffee before setting out to explore. Off-road parking for one car is at the front of the property.

The cottage provided everything for a stay in Keswick. The accommodation was cosy and comfortable with the bonus of having a parking space off road. Situated in a very quiet location just off the town centre. Highly recommended.
