Admire the view from Friar's Crag (0.5 miles), stroll around the lake, or climb the nearby peaks, such as Latrigg Fell (1.5 miles) or Blencathra (7 miles). The stone circle at Castlerigg (1.5 miles) offers magical views over the surrounding fells.

A door leads into a bright, spacious kitchen/diner with all the essential appliances and a dining table seating four. When night falls, head upstairs to find two comfortable king-sized bedrooms. They share the use of a contemporary bathroom with a shower over the bath, allowing you the option of a leisurely soak or a refreshing shower.
