Outstanding views, handy location for the town, bear in mind very steep hills to access the property. Very well furnished and a very peaceful location

This was our first stay in Brackenber and it didn't disappoint. The property offers everything and more to provide a fantastic family holiday. The large open plan living area is complimented with full length windows which provide an amazing panoramic view over Ambleside and beyond, just stunning.

Stunning views over Ambleside and the fells from an elevated property. The property has all the amenities you would want for a relaxing break. The whole place is spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen making it a home from home. The bathrooms have great showers much appreciated after a long day exploring. The WiFi is excellenRead moret and the outside terrace is a perfect place to have a cup of tea or glass of wine. Walking distance to a fantastic selection of cafes and restaurants. Great place for walking and within easy reach of nature trails. Great local bus service a short walk away to reach all the nearby towns and villages. Within walking distance of a superb cinema too. A question when we first arrived was responded to super fast too. Also following up to make sure all was perfect for us. Would highly recommend and we will be booking with Lakeland Retreats again. What an amazing place!! Such a beautiful cottage with stunning views! Would 100% recommend any family or friends to say here! It has everything you need and only a short walk to the town centre! We loved every minute of our stay.
