We've stayed here several times and keep coming back because it's warm and comfortable, and the location is perfect, in the centre of Ambleside, close to all amenities, handy for buses and with lots of walks from the door without needing to use the car. The house has been recently decorated and it has a lovely shower-room. There's a nice back yard Read morewith outdoor seating and also some seating outside at the front. It's easy to unload in Millans Park near to the back of the house (you need a parking disc for 1 hours free parking) then park the car in the large car park in Rydal Road 5 minutes' walk away, using the free parking permit provided. We've never found anywhere we like better to stay in Ambleside. Hide

perfect location, just a short walk to the park for our dog, warm when we needed it to be, shops round the corner, and pubs to enjoy, had all the equipment we needed, shower was small but good power and heat, will be happy to stay again.
