As cute as can be, this delightful timber-clad hut has been designed just for one or two people – and up to two canine companions. With easy access to hiking trails, cycle routes and historic sites, it boasts a private paddock, wood burner and even a TV.
Compact yet thoughtfully arranged, this purpose-built hut has a traditional, barrel-shaped roof and steps up to its front door. Inside, the open-plan space includes a double bed in one corner, dressed with pretty linens and boasting reading lights above and a TV at the foot, ready for long lie-ins. A wood burner adds comfort on chilly evenings; you’ll have Wi-Fi and plug sockets, too. The kitchenette provides the essentials for preparing simple meals, with an oven, two-ring hob, fridge and microwave, and there’s a small seating area for indoor dining if needed. An en-suite bathroom with a full-sized shower and flushing WC completes the interior. When fresh air beckons, your enclosed patio boasts a dining set and leads to a large, private paddock, where dogs can roam and guests can enjoy sunbathing or stargazing in the comfortable chairs. A BBQ is available for outdoor cooking. Stroll down to the nearby river for a peaceful, shared spot to relax on the benches by the water. Private parking is available for one car.
