Up to six guests can stay in this homely Cumbrian bungalow with a pretty English garden, a traditional cottage feel from its wooden furnishings, and the coast less than 1 mile away. Spend your time away touring the local historical landmarks, relaxing on the beach or exploring the Lake District National Park.

Enter the property and find yourself in the welcoming lounge with tones of green throughout and two comfortable sofas sitting opposite the wood-burner-effect electric fire beneath a wooden mantle. There are also wooden furnishings and a Smart TV. Continue into the kitchen with glossy cabinets, neutral-toned decor and views of the garden while you prepare food. Gather with your loved ones in the dining room with a table and chairs for six. Beyond here, there’s a utility room and a family bathroom with a shower over the corner bathtub. Completing the interior are three bedrooms – a twin room and two king-size rooms. Outside is a spacious garden with furniture and a lawn.

Unwind in the quiet seaside village of Baycliff on the Cumbrian coast. Go for a stroll to discover the charming local pub (within 0.5 miles) and the golden shores of Aldingham Beach (1 mile). Step back in time with a trip to the Bronze Age Birkrigg Stone Circle (2.5 miles) and soak up the countryside views on a walk across Birkrigg Common (2 miles). Spend an afternoon in the market town of Ulverston or venture further afield into the Lake District National Park (8.5 miles). Here you can admire Coniston Water (16.5 miles), hike to the summit of The Old Man of Coniston (19.5 miles) and visit the charming town of Ambleside (26 miles).

Absolutely no complaints about Buan Craig whatsoever. Easily one of the nicest properties we've stayed in. It was immaculately presented and exceptionally clean. The pub is close and the beach is a leisurely ten minute stroll with fantastic vantage points for the sunrise. Beautiful property, Immaculate, Everything felt new. Plenty of parking and a lovely south facing garden. A gem of a pub 30seconds away, what's not to love. Walk down through the village across the main road, down a short quiet lane onto the waterside of Morecambe Bay.

Buan Craig is a great bungalow. It was exceptionally clean, modern, and comfortable with good facilities. The garden has a nice sun spot for dining outside, and the pub next door was handy for eating out. It is ideally situated for visiting local areas of interest and is set in a quiet village.
