Sleeping 20 people across two properties, this magnificent holiday haven, near Howtown, enjoys panoramic views out across picturesque Ullswater. With a cinema room, spa and hot tub, the retreat also enjoys access to the lake itself for those who enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding or wild swimming.

Arrive to discover your two sumptuous hideaways include a splendid six-bedroom house, sleeping 12 guests, and a beautiful four-bedroom barn for eight people. In total, there are three super-king-size bedrooms, five king-sizes and two doubles, each of which benefits from either an en-suite bathroom or shower room. You also have two high-specification kitchens for preparing grand feasts for your group and fabulous spaces for dining, relaxing and socialising together. Gather in the cinema room for a film showing or watch one of the many Smart TVs. Unwind together in the spa or mix yourselves a cocktail in the bar and carry it over to one of the many viewing areas that capture the uninterrupted views out across the still waters. Spill out into your gorgeous outside spaces as often as possible. Soak in the hot tub or have a few moments in Shavasana on the yoga terrace. Cook out on the BBQ, dine under the stars and go for a gentle evening walk through the 27-acre estate. There is private parking for ten cars here.

Amble just 500 metres from the house to board an Ullswater Steamer and enjoy the scenery from the lake itself. Lace up your walking boots and head off with the hikers in your party to tackle the 20-mile Ullswater Way. Climb Hallin Fell, which overlooks the retreat, and take in the far-reaching views from the summit.
