Also on this level is a family bathroom and two bedrooms – a super-king-size and a twin room. The top floor contains two double bedrooms and a family shower room. Outside is a fully enclosed, multi-level, terraced garden with furniture. There is private parking for two cars.
Soak up the Cumbrian countryside while staying near the quiet village of Hawkshead (5 miles). Wander to the lake and woodland at National Trust Tarn Hows (1.5 miles) until you reach the majestic 9-foot Tom Gill Waterfall. Spend some time exploring Windermere Lake (4 miles) before grabbing a pick-me-up in the quaint town of Ambleside (4.5 miles). Strap on your hiking boots and navigate to the summit of Scafell Pike (8 miles) or wander around the echoey Cathedral Cave (5.5 miles).
