Gaze out over Keswick's rooftops and the Lake District landscapes beyond with a stay in this handsome apartment. Set within a period property in the heart of town, it promises restful nights and peaceful mornings between days of adventure. Known as the adventure capital of The Lakes, Keswick offers mountain biking trails, hiking routes and countless opportunities for guided excursions across the surrounding fells. Sleeping four, the apartment is a superb choice for families or couples looking for comfort with a little extra space.

Perched on the fourth floor, the apartment makes the most of its elevated position, with dormer windows framing far-reaching views. The open-plan living space is bright and inviting, seamlessly combining a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge to create a sociable hub. Slanted ceilings with original beams highlight the building's character and attic charm. Along the hallway, two welcoming bedrooms - one double and one twin - provide a restful retreat, while a gleaming family bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the layout. Although there's no outdoor space, the property does include the convenience of a private parking spot for one car.

From your doorstep, Keswick brims with things to see and do, including fascinating museums, welcoming country pubs, and the independently run Theatre by the Lake, perched on the edge of Derwentwater. The lake itself invites endless adventure, with boat trips, canoeing, wild swimming and scenic waterside walks. Towering over the town, the mighty fells of Skiddaw (5 miles) and Blencathra (7 miles) beckon hikers and mountain bikers alike.

A comfortable flat with great views of the hills (and spire!). The town, theatre and countryside all just outside. We had a wonderful week here.

Easy collection of keys, great location and well equipped. Views are amazing but be mindful as it's on the top floor, theres a few flights of stairs to climb up.

Lovely little place, great for a weekend, wonderful views. Although, for very tall people, expect to bang your head on the beams from time to time!
