The local market town of Brough (2 miles) in the Eden Valley offers eateries to indulge in, castle ruins to explore and a historic church with a doorway dating back to Norman times. Perfect little cottage in the beautiful grounds of Augill Castle. Everything was spotlessly clean and so inviting and comfortable. It was very well equipped with everything necessary. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog and a delightful space to enjoy the autumnal sunshine.
