We had a wonderful stay at Bracken Cottage, a very cosy, well-equipped cottage. It was the most welcoming holiday we've had in the UK for quite some time. Wendy made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, leaving lovely treats for us and even treats and toys for our dog, which really helped him settle in. The garden was beautiful and especiRead moreally appreciated during the summer heatwave. It was the perfect place to relax with a cold drink after a day out exploring. The neighbourhood was friendly and welcoming, with some great places to eat nearby, and Bracken Cottage is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area and the southern lakes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended! 10 out of 10! Hide
