A beautiful area. Quite a distance from places of interest but lovely walks locally. A local services provided essentials at long hours. Local residents were friendly and helpful.

The floors were visibly dirty. The sitting room had mould and had clearly not been cleaned. The fridge had not been emptied and there was a strong unpleasant smell. Including expired milk, coffee and biscuits. Spiders everywhere, dust. This lack of cleanliness was not only unhygienic, but it also completely undermined our holiday experience. We lRead moreeft the property straight away and waiting for our full refund.

A lovely cottage full of character and charm. Impeccably clean and containing everything required for a peaceful break. Ideally situated in a small, friendly village which is close to lots of visitor attractions but which maintains the tranquility of the Lakes
