Lovely lodge, just needs a couple of things updating. Blinds need fixing and freezer needs defrosting. Been here a couple of years now, will come back as love the location in the park, close to pub and lots of space outside.

Very comfortable and well-maintained accommodation. The outside deck terrace is perfect for a morning coffee and evening sundowners. It's spotless, all the fittings and furnishings are good, and make for a very comfortable stay. Location is excellent, not too far from Windermere with all its facilities, and easy connecting roads to other parts of tRead morehe Lake District. On-site pub with usual pub food options and a small shop. We had a wonderful stay and I would not hesitate to book this again. Hide

Great location in between Ambleside and Bowness-On-Windemere. Lodge was well situated in the holiday park with both the shop and pub within a few minutes walk. The lodge was very clean and well equipped, nice touch upon arrival with some local biscuits and ground coffee for the cafetiere. Would stay again!

I would really recommend this lodge. Clean and comfortable and seemed to be in the best location on site. South facing and sun all day on balcony. Not obscured by trees/ other lodges and not overlooked. Would definitely chose it again.

Fantastic modern property, nice quiet location. Nice to have the decking to sit and relax and allowed our dog to be outside safely and cleanly. Friendly neighbours who even fixed a water pipe. Weather was good. Troutbeck was a good new base after a few holidays in Chapel Stile. Many thanks!
