A beautiful cottage in a wonderful location. Calm and peaceful, yet just a few minutes away from Bowness. Would recommend to anyone.

Despite the above we loved the cottage. It was very quiet and in a fabulous rural location away from major roads. It was also very comfortable and well equipped. We'd definitely like to return one day.

What an idyllic place to stay. The cottage itself was very well kept, clean and so welcoming to new guests. The 4 poster super king size bed was extremely comfortable. Whilst still retaining the farmhouse cottage feel, it offered a contemporary bathroom and kitchen area. The views were beyond stunning and there was direct access to the fells if youRead more wanted a walk to blow away those cobwebs. As it is on a working farm, we were able to hear the cows and sheep in the distance. Wild grouse in the fields and swallows nesting nearby with their chicks were an added bonus. It is far enough for utter tranquility but close enough to places of interest. We will definitely be going back if the owners will have us. We deem ourselves very lucky indeed, to have been allowed to stay in their perfect little cottage for 2. Hide

Very great cottage and location! I think it is the best cottage I have ever booked in the Lake District. Very peaceful in the middle of the countryside surrounded by sheep and all this green, though it is only a couple of miles away from Bowness. I warmly recommend Fell View Cottage to anyone.

Fell View Cottage did indeed have a lovely view of the fells. The bed was comfortable as were the seats in the lounge. A very peaceful position but easy to access all the Lake District has to offer. Very helpful, friendly caretakers.
