This cottage is perfectly situated right at the heart of the beautiful Lake District town of Keswick. All the amenities of Keswick are right on the doorstep, the lake is just a few minutes' walk away and with its own designated parking space, you can easily come back from exploring the stunning surrounding area and instantly relax in this wonderful cottage.

 

The property benefits from the best of both worlds: a traditional cottage feel with all the modern amenities you could want for a perfect break. The exposed wooden beams are a characterful touch in a brightly modern interior with a fully updated kitchen and light living areas.

 

Suitable for families and couples alike, the cottage is a great base for making the most of your Lake District holiday. The museums, shops, restaurants and pubs in Keswick give the town a lively atmosphere. You can get onto Derwentwater either under your own steam, by hiring a rowing boat, or by getting on the launch which will pick you up and drop you off at various points around the lake. The fell walking is superb in the area with the fells of Borrowdale easily accessible and providing unrivalled scenery.

 

As soon as you walk into the cottage, you'll feel relaxed and right at home! From the entrance hallway you enter the open-plan living area that's decorated in lovely calming tones. There's also a nod to the cottage's original features in here, with an unimposing exposed beam dotted with brasses.

 

The lounge area has plenty of comfy seatings with a triple sofa and two armchairs. A TV and DVD with a selection of DVDs can provide entertainment in the evenings, while the lovely, electric fire will add an extra level of cosiness to the room!

 

The kitchen is compact but well equipped with a fridge and ice box, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and electric oven with four electric hobs. The layout of this room means that it's lovely and social, so the cook of the day can enjoy chatting with the others in the party as they relax in the lounge. Around the corner is a lovely square dining table for enjoying those delicious meals!

 

Stairs from the dining area lead to a landing on the first floor, where you'll find the two bedrooms and the bathroom. The master bedroom has a double bed, two bedside tables, a wardrobe, and a handy dressing table. There's also a wicker chair in here if you want to sit back for some 'me' time or just lay out your clothes for the next day's adventures! The second bedroom has twin beds, a bedside table, a wooden chair, and a small selection of books for you to use during your stay. Finally, the family bathroom has an electric shower over the bath, so you can choose a long soak or a refreshing wash, whichever suits you best! The bathroom also includes a WC and sink.

 

The property is a stone's throw from Keswick town centre and benefits from having local amenities right on the doorstep.

This cottage is lovely! Right in the middle of Keswick with it's own parking space and 30 yards from the nearest pub! It is always clean and tidy and has enough facilities to make sure your stay is enjoyable. We've been staying there once or twice a year for ten years so we obviously love it.

Conifer cottage is in a perfect location for access to the town square, lake and fitz park. The cottage is very clean with good internet connection and very close to the cafes, restaurants and pubs. Parking is available outside the property or there is a car park a minutes walk away. You can pre book this through MIPERMIT code 712222 if you have a Read morelarger car or people carrier. This property is great value for those wanting to be close to the centre off Keswick. Hide

This property is perfect for us, a couple with two dogs. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of town and it's own dedicated parking space makes it ideal. It's small but comfortable, always clean and with everything you'd expect from a holiday let.

We had a fantastic week. The cottage is in a very good location, and is clean and very well equipped. The car parking space however is only suitable for a small car, but there is a car park next door.

Located next to the square which was very handy, only used the car to travel outside of keswick. Clean. Enough space for a family of 4. There is no garden in the property which was our biggest issue. We have 2 year old twins and the weather was lovely so we had no where to relax outside and let them roam around freely.

We very much enjoyed our holiday in Conifer cottage. It's central location in Keswick is perfect for shops, cafes, restaurants and the Lake. The whole surrounding area is very beautiful with lots of Lakes and country side to explore.

We have stayed here on numerous occasions, the location is spot on and equipment provided excellent. The beds are very comfortable and although close to the Main Street, was very quiet.

We loved the cottage, it was comfortable,, warm, well equipped and couldnt be more conveniently located for Keswick itself, walks in the area, and buses going further afield. Really appreciated that cottage wasnt festooned with intimidating notices giving instructions and warnings, but instead had a manual of essential, , helpful, information that Read moremade it easy to use the cottage equipment etc. It felt like a real home from home and we will return.
