Nestled in the heart of Keswick, this beautifully presented Lake District townhouse offers an ideal base for families and those seeking a peaceful walking holiday in one of the UK’s most loved national parks. Positioned on a quiet residential street, yet just a short stroll from the town centre, the property perfectly balances tranquillity with convenience.

Keswick remains a favourite destination for lovers of the outdoors, thanks to its wealth of walking trails, excellent public transport links, and an inviting selection of independent shops, restaurants, and traditional pubs on your doorstep. The scenic shores of Derwentwater lie within a mile, with Bassenthwaite Lake National Nature Reserve just 4 miles away, both perfect for a relaxed day out. For more adventurous guests, Whinlatter Forest offers fantastic bike trails and woodland walks, while Keswick’s Theatre by the Lake provides a more leisurely cultural experience.

This three-storey home is thoughtfully designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. Step through the front door and kick off your walking boots before heading into the inviting open-plan kitchen/diner. Well-equipped with everything from casserole pots and slow cookers to a Nespresso machine (compatible with Nespresso Original Line capsules), it’s a space made for gathering after a day on the fells. The light-filled dining area, with its large bay window, is the perfect spot to plan the next day’s adventure or simply unwind over a family meal. The first floor features a serene lounge, where you can sink into soft seating, catch up on a favourite series on the Smart TV, or enjoy a quiet evening with a good book. A king-size bedroom and well-appointed family bathroom with walk-in shower complete this floor. Upstairs, you’ll find two further bedrooms, a double and a king-size, both bathed in natural light from the skylights and offering lovely views across the rooftops.

While there’s no private outdoor space, Fitz Park is just a short walk away, offering a perfect spot for a morning stroll or a family picnic. And with Keswick’s lively amenities and welcoming pubs within 500 metres, you’ll never be far from warm, local hospitality.

This is a brilliant house and better than described on line. It is spacious, comfortable and in a great position for getting into Keswick. Although there is only one bathroom, having an additional toilet and basins in two bedrooms worked well for four adults and one child. We would definitely book again. Thankyou for a fantastic stay in Keswick.

If the issues we encountered hadnt of occurred this would receive a great review. Assuming they are rectified then I would recommend this property.

Brilliant location, well equipped kitchen. Plenty of seats in living room. House was clean and immaculate, very homely. Managed to get parked around the corner from property, ideally would have liked to be parked nearer property to keep an eye on cars.

Everything was clean, tidy and so modern. Beautiful property with lots of thought into every item we may have needed for our holiday. The walk in shower was great, but unfortunately it wet the whole of the bathroom every time we used it. I would recommend this property and stay again.

Comfortable house with a well equipped kitchen. Very quiet but within an easy walk of shops, cinema, climbing wall, the lake etc etc. Lots of space for our family of four adults to while away a few wet mornings.

A beautifully kept house perfect as a base for exploring the north lakes. Easy to walk into Keswick and around Derwent Water. The house is clean and comfortable with plenty of space. A long trip down to the toilet from the top floor, and only one bathroom was our only complaint. Be prepared for a tough time finding a parking spot!
