A lovely stay at Marley's Den. We brought a little luggage trolley with us as parking is limited but free permit for nearby car park is ideal. The place is a little hard to find first time looking but it's a perfect little location. Woken early with shop shutters and binmen most days but can't be helped for where it is... Just across from Greggs, Read morealmost perfect! The place had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Not suitable if you are unable to do some stairs to enter the property but dog friendly and surprisingly spacious. Hide

Please bear in mind that it is not possible to park your car immediately close to the property for unloading. You can park temporarily on Standish Road, however this has double yellow lines and you will be blocking the road to other cars. We were able to do this when we arrived and unloaded to the street and then carried our possessions 20-30m downRead more the back alley then up the stairs to the front door. Inside the property was lovely and clean and is in a great location in the center of Keswick. The front bedroom overlooks the high-street, so we found on a couple of occasions we were woken up early in the morning due to deliveries/refuse collections. Parking for your vehicle is at Otley Road cark park, some 0.25km away, however its free when you provide your car registration before you arrive. Hide

The apartment is large, comfortable, well equipped and fog friendly. In a fantastic location handy for the square, bars and eateries Fitz Park is a 2 minute walk away - great for local dog walks

We were a party of four adults and 1 infant. We found Marleys Den to be very cosy, yet spacious. The owners ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. The propertys in a fantastic location, so close to Keswicks pubs, restaurants and supermarkets, as well as access to lakeside walks. The flat was very well equipped,and well appointed and comfy beds.. The location was great , very central, lake, shops and transport within easy reach. We appreciated the selection of walk books, which were useful, planning which direction to head. A great place to stay.

Marley's Den is a lovely flat. It was well equipped if you wanted to stay in&cook - though why you would want to when you are within feet of a selection of restaurants, cafes, pubs&bars, I don't know. It was nicely decorated&comfortable. Everything you need was provided - washing up liquid, soap, toilet rolls, dishwasher tabs, tea, coffee, sugar, sRead moreome sachets of milk to start you off. It's not suitable if you can't do steps. We had no trouble with noise from the street. I would happily return. Hide

Very pleasant and comfortable split level accommodation - we were very happy here. Surprisingly quiet for such a handy central location. (Provided instructions on how to find the front-door were accurate, just keep going when following the alley all the way to the end). A great location, especially if you have a dog, Fitz is a stones throw away. The cottage has a good well equipped kitchen, but we used Greggs for breakfast it's so convenient, as it's on the doorstep. So not worth cooking yourself.

Very central location means handy for everything Keswick has to offer. It also means that there is noise from passing people and the sound of shops opening early. Consideration for light sleepers. Duplex is comfortable and has everything you need. Lots of steps so would be challenging if you had mobility issues.

Loved the place. All the rooms seemed to be huge and airy and at no time did we feel cramped for space.Great that you could eat either in the kitchen or lounge or both.Typical that we found the dishwasher on the last day!! Fantastic stay at this lovely and homely apartment. The kitchen has everything you need. The lounge is extremely comfortable. More spacious than the pictures seem. Great location. We will be back.

Marleys den was perfect, really appreciated the welcome tea/coffee and treats on arrival, thank you. Very clean and had everything we needed. Valued the iron and hairdryer, planty of towels and kitchen well equipped too. Enjoyed the books too. Lovely location near the town centre and short walk from derwentwater. Beautiful place to visit.
